I believe in balance….

I love basketball, school, family, friends, and community.  I try to achieve the most I can in every day.  I never miss anything to do with basketball whether that is conditioning or weight training at 6 am but I also believe in participating in community.

Involvement is important in whatever you do.  My friends and I submitted a senior video to be the homecoming emcees and we won.  I try to attend many activities such as football games and family events.  Oh, and I also work part time at the Outback Steakhouse.  My family and friends always support me therefore I need to do the same.

I also think it is important to be a leader.  I try to make the underclassmen feel a part of the basketball program.  This might be something as simple as giving them a ride home from practice or helping run the youth basketball camps at our high school every summer.  You need to pay it forward.

I work hard when I’m in the moment.  I realize my future is just around the corner and that education will give me the opportunity to achieve my goals.

It has been said by news reporters and fans that I am a very passionate basketball player and fun to watch.  They are right.  I like to win!  It needs to be a team effort; however, I am not afraid to take that buzzer beater shot during a game such as Chatfield vs Columbine!
