Blake Williams '18 Recruiting Profile

I don't remember a day without a basketball in my hands.  When I was 3 years old,  I begged my parents to let me play organized basketball.  I fell in love with the game.  The gym became my sanctuary.  It is common for me to stay in the gym all night until the janitor turns off the lights.  My coaches can count on me to set the bar for what's expected on and equally off the court.  

I set the tone and intensity of the game.  I know the game well, have court sense and the athletic ability to pull off miracles.  When the game is on the line, I want the ball in my hands, and so do my coaches.  The bigger the game, the tighter the score, the better I play.  I have the confidence and focus to perform under pressure.

I am a 6' 6" guard and still growing.  I'm fast, and athletic.  I am one of the top most athletic and versatile players in Colorado.  My high school team consists of the best guards in the state of Colorado.  We made the Final Four playoffs in 2016-2017.   I will lead my team to a State Title next year.

Day after day,  night after night, I continue to invest time and sweat equity to master the craft.  My desire and ambition has intensifies with each season.  I will be a reputable collegiate athlete, one that any coach would be proud to have on the team, and a player a coach can confidently stake his career on.  I play with great passion, and I will EARN your respect.
