Personal Statement
My name is Hunter Rohlman and I am a junior at Mountain Range High School in Westminster, CO. My future goal is to play basketball or tennis at the college level as well as to excel academically. Basketball has always been my passion and I began team play when I was 5 years old. I am 6 foot5 inches tall, 195 pounds, and just turned 17 years old. I have been a starter on every team I have played with and would be described by my coaches and teammates as the glue that holds our offense and defense together. I strive for a double/double in every game and seldom fall short. I am also a varsity tennis player and first chair trombone player.
In the academic world, I am an honor roll student and enrolled in all honors classes. Math is my strong suit and I am currently taking AP Calculus. I plan to use my mathematical talents in an engineering major in college. I was an Academic All-State recipient during my freshman, sophomore and junior tennis seasons as well as my sophomore and junior basketball seasons.
My leadership skills abound both on and off the court. My character, integrity, and unselfishness bring out the best in everyone around me. I am extremely coachable and thrive in an organized team environment.
I am excited to experience the recruiting process and the many options I have for my future college career.
