My basketball career began at age four. In everyday life, especially in sport, I have persevered to be better than the rest. I am a team leader with the ball in my hands about 90% of the game. I limit turnovers and get other people open with my ball handling skills. I score in many ways including outside shooting and inside finishing. I used my excellent basketball IQ to be in the right spot on defense and obtain many steals. I pride myself in being respectful and very coachable. I have shown to be one of the hardest workers on any team I am on.
Academically, I thrive in math and science and work hard in the classroom to keep a high GPA . I also have many volunteer hours, primarily teaching the youth at religious camps and secondly at local youth basketball camps. I have leadership roles such as being apart of the basketball hiring committee at my high school.
In the distant future, I want to follow through with my math and science passion and become an anesthesiologist. The medical field is a good opportunity to live for others and help save lives. I want to attend a college where I can show my leaderships skills, basketball skills, and intelligence in order to make a positive impact on society, especially the youth.
