Basketball has always been a huge part of my life. I LOVE THE GAME! It keeps me centered, organized and happy. I would love to elevate my basketball career to the collegiate level. As a sophomore, I earned a starting spot on my high school varsity team. All of our starters were sophomores. Having a team as young as we were was a challenge to say the least. We lost game after game by a colossal margin, but we never allowed that to define us. At the start of the season we had multiple thirty point losses, but in the final four games we played, our largest loss was by only 5 points. In the summer following that season, I made it a priority to get into the gym and bring all of my teammates with me. My team knows humility and it made us all better players and better people. In my junior year my team won its’ first of many varsity games and managed to never let a game get out of our hands. I was named 1st Team All-Conference and voted Most Outstanding Player of the year by my coaches.
My biggest strengths include scoring (shooting and driving), ball handling, passing and being able to read the offense and get steals. I am a very good catch and shoot player and take smart shots. Seeing the floor and finding the open man is another attribute of mine.
I am looking for a great basketball program that can help improve my skills and abilities as well as a school that fits my academic needs. I plan to earn a degree in Finance and pursue a Masters of Business Administration.
Thank you for your time and consideration.
