Jhoan Gil Guerrero '16 Recruiting Profile

My name is Jhoan Gil-Guerrero and I am 17 years old. I am 6'2 and my weight is 145lbs. I became interested in basketball in the 5th grade, I would watch my friends play every recess, so I decided to give it a try and ever since then I fell in love with the game. I live and breath basketball. I would like to attend a college or university in the North-East because my family lives in Connecticut, and they are very important to me, however I am open to considering other locations if the right opportunity arises.  I am interested  in playing in any basketball division in a college that supports my interest in seeking a degree with a concentration in the Arts field.

I believe that I can be a great addition to any team, I bring good shooting skills and I am determined to work to help the team as much as I can, by taking my academics seriously and treating every game or practice like it is my last and giving it my all.  I have so much passion and love for this game, that I can't imagine not playing basketball.  Even when I am not playing, when I have free time, I am thinking about how I can improve, and how I will practice next, or what the next game will be like.  I assure you that with me you will have the hardest working and most determined athlete on your team!
