I started playing basketball when I was five years old. I played in my first league that same year at the YMCA. Ever since I've dreamed of playing at a collegiate level. I hope to play at the highest level possible and am willing to do whatever it takes.
On the court I am a hustle player, have a high basketball IQ, have good court vision, good ball handling/ control, and have a pretty we'll rounded shot from mid range to the perimeter. I'm not afraid to sacrifice my body. Diving out of bounds, taking charges, etc. I do whatever it takes to help my team. I love to get my teammates involved, I'll take every open opportunity I have to score but making a play to allow a teammate to score is just as great if not better in my opinion.
Off the court I take strenuous classes including advanced placement (AP) and honors classes. My GPA hasn't dropped below a 3.8 throughout high school. It is usually around a 4.1 weighted. I take as many difficult classes as possible because I know that an education is just as important as basketball.
Overall I'm a very hard worker who does what he is told to do and will do anything to help his team be successful. I hope to play at a collegiate level regardless of the division and look forward to helping any basketball team that is willing to take me succeed.
