My name is Jonathan Priestley. I am a senior in high school and will graduate in 2014. I am 5'8" and 140 lbs. I played basketball on my high school junior varsity for two years and varsity team last year. I also played on two AAU teams for the past five years. I currently start on my AAU team (Atlantic Storm) as Point Guard and also play shooting guard.
As Point Guard, it is my duty to be the coach on the floor, which means I create scoring opportunities for my teammates first and also for myself - at which I am very good! Also, I have the ability to adjust to the different situations on the floor and make sure my teammates adjust as well.
Even though I play Point Guard, my secondary position is Shooting Guard which I am also very good at.
I will play any position my coach tells me to, to the best of my ability. I train with my AAU coach a few times a week to work on honing my skills because i believe there is always room for improvement. I compete hard every single second I am on the court.
One of my goals is to graduate college with a degree in either Business Management, or Business Sports Management.
I would like the opportunity to play basketball at the next level while furthering my education. I look forward to talking to college coaches and playing in college.
