My childhood dream has always been to play college basketball. I love and respect the game. Basketball has taught me valuable life skills that can be used on and off the court like leadership, communication, time-management and self-motivation. I am dedicated to being the best person, student and basketball player that I can be. I shoot the three at 38%, drive the lane aggressively and also have a nice mid-range game. I am a hard worker on the defensive end and can guard several positions. My coaches usually assign me to lock down the best player on the other team. They describe me as a player with a high basketball IQ, great court vision, and the “glue” that holds the team together. I love to lead by example and play and practice as hard as I can.
I realize basketball will end at some point so my family has always put a high emphasis on academics. It is my hope that I can pursue my academic goals as well as continue playing basketball through college. I feel I have the needed skills, passion and dedication to play at the college level - all I need is a chance.
