Preston Pelski '18 Recruiting Profile

At 6'9" and 225 lbs, my size and mobility provides a strong presence on the court.  My length gives me a definite advantage on both sides of the ball.  I am very coachable and consider myself a team player.  My strength is on defensive where I’ve led the county in blocks for 2 years.  Last year I averaged 4/ game and this year currently at 3/ game.  My near 7 foot wingspan allows me to alter many shots.  I switched from playing mostly baseball to basketball in 9th grade and feel that I have a lot of upside potential.  I am dedicated to getting bigger and stronger with regular personal strength training workouts.  Off the court, my main focus continues to be my academics and my involvement in extra curricular activities to develop strong leadership skills.  I am currently participating with the United Way Youth Leadership program and recently graduated from the Ocala/ Marion Youth Leadership program.   I have an interest in space science/ Astronomy or engineering, but keeping options open for the right program fit and opportunities.
