Personal Statement
My collegiate goal is to make an immediate impact as a student athlete at the Division I level. I finish above the basket, athletic and a tough big body player and want to help lead my team to the Final 4. I am willing to work harder than anyone else on the court to improve my game and be a leader. I am currently enrolled at JFCA in Atlanta GA. I am playing for Coach Roshown Mcleod (Duke 93'); We will be playing a national schedule in 2014-2015. I am also working hard this preseason in a strength and conditioning program. I am building on the athletic experience gained playing this past summer for Mo Williams at MWA Elite and the Under Armour Association In 2013-2014 school year at Prime Prep Academy in Dallas, TX. At Prime Prep Academy in 2013-2014, I played a national schedule and a high level of high school basketball.I also worked hard in the classroom. I have played in the Tarkanian Classic 2013, CRC Classic 2014, Spaulding Hoophall Classic 2014, and Flying to the Hoops 2014. Academically, I scored a 27 on the ACT and I currently have a 3.5 GPA. I am currently taking three dual credit college courses at JFCA. I am committed to excelling on the court and in the classroom. I worked hard with a strength coach to get stronger and faster on both ends of the court. I bring a big body, quick hands and good footwork to the court. I continue to work hard on defense and putting the ball in the basket. I am confident I can contribute immediately at a high level of play. I am looking forward to an intense and exciting level of play this school year. I am pursuing an opportunity to utilize and develop high level skills at the Division 1 College Basketball level, succeed academically and to play basketball professionally.
