Deante Green '19 Recruiting Profile

My mom was diagnosed with cancer and watching her go through treatments influenced me to never give up and to work hard and be strong.  I grew up as a military child traveling the world and experiencing different cultures.  It has made me cultured and resilient.  It helped me to be more adaptable in any environment.  I have been interested in basketball ever since I was a young child.  I always had a passion and dream to be a great basketball player.                                                           I am a very competitive player.  I have the desire to be the best player I can be and help my teammates do the same. My academic goals are to go to college and graduate with a degree in Engineering.  I am looking for a program that will be a good fit for me athletically as well as academically.  I believe that I have the talent to compete for a college team.  I have the work-ethic and character to make an immediate impact on your program.  I am a very coachable student-athlete and willing to work and be committed to improving my skills and becoming an outstanding point and shooting guard.
