I only play basketball and I am fully committed to it and my academics. I received the MVP award three years in a row. I'm a leader on and off the court, it comes naturally to me. Good communication skills has assisted me in leading my teammates. I believe that if you work at it, you can achieve anything you put your mind to. I have a vision that our team will win the GCCA state championship. I seek to maintain a balance between academics and basketball. My goal is to exceed a 1,000 points in my high school basketball career and maintain a GPA of 3.5 to 3.6. In an effort to score more points I am doing extra shooting drills daily. I'm conditioning and strengthening my body by weight lifting and running the bleachers daily. I am a team player. I play hard and always give 100% to motivate my teammates. Annually, I participate in the Samaritan's Purse Shoebox Gifts and Helen's Haven Children Advocacy 5k Fundraiser. I participate monthly in various community services. I dream of playing at the college level and winning a full ride scholarship. I am the type of person who wants to succeed. I don't fold in high stress situations and I don't give in or give up.
