Obtaining a spot on the basketball team my freshman year was a magnificent feeling. Even after moving schools I was still able to earn a spot on the roster. Even better our team was able to secure a spot in the State Championship my sophomore year. After losing the State Championship game, I realized not only do you need to be coachable and hard working to be successful individually, you need a quality team chemistry to be successful as a team. Being an upperclassman the loss in the State Championship has given me building blocks to lead the lowerclassmen on the team.
I am very fortunate to be playing in the program I am today. Guarding the stronger and faster players helped me develop the ability to guard post players and guards. I am interested in finding a program that fits my athletic and educational needs and interests. I think I would be an excellent addition to your program not only because I am a well-rounded player but also because of my character, work ethic and coachability.
