Trey Micah Lieb/mililani (Hawaii) High School Class of 2022 Boys Varsity Basketball Team/GPA 3.5
My name is Trey Micah Lieb and in 2022 I will be graduating from Mililani (Hawaii) High School. Although I am a junior and play point guard on the Mililani High Trojans varsity basketball team which had one of the best seasonal records for our division in the state. I like to facilitate for my teammates and be a good team player. Furthermore, I take a lot of pride in playing defense and think that is one of my stronger points of my game. Being able to facilitate as well as be a good team player, I can also create shots for myself as well as score the basketball. I will always try and find other ways to help the team whether that be in rebounds, assist, or hustle and come out the arena with a win.
By way of background regarding my athletic ability, I also played baseball for Go Nuts Hawaii where we won the state and regional championships. That, in turn, allowed us to play in the Cal Ripken World series in Aberdeen, Maryland for the 2016 to 2017 season. In that tournament we placed second in the U.S finals and third in the world series final.
In basketball, I give thanks to my AAU coach Kalia McGee ([email protected]) who played D-1 college basketball for the University of Hawaii and who has coached our teams since I was in elementary school. Under coach McGee's guidance, our teams have won two consecutive AAU tournaments including the Grand Finale in the 2017-2018 season. Not only do I play for coach Kalia McGee but I also play for coach Alika Smith who played D1 basketball as well, I have won 1 AAU tournament with him. I would also like to give thanks to Garrett Gabriel ([email protected]) who is currently my high school varsity coach and played quarter back at the University of Hawaii.
Listed below is a link to a website that exhibits our Mililani Trojans' statistics as we progressed through my freshman year. I do note that some of our games are missing from the listed statistics otherwise my individual stats would be higher than shown.
From an academic perspective, I currently have a 3.5 G.P.A with nothing less than A's and B's in my core studies. For the future, I plan to study sports medicine and know that your school does support that field of study.
