I have been playing team sports since I was 4 years old. I have played a total of 5 sports (basketball, football, wrestling, soccer, and baseball), but basketball has always been my true passion. I am a very determined athlete and strive to get better every time I step on the court. I am very coachable player as I listen and appreciate any concerns or suggestions the coach might have for me. I work extremely hard and take every challenge as the next step in order to get better. Even though I'm a bit on the small side, I have been told that I am a true "play maker". I feel the need to involve my teammates in all aspects of the game. I'm not afraid to take chances whether it be a game-winning shot or working to get the play done.
As a freshman, I was bumped up to a starting position with the JV team as they needed another ball handler. As I went into my sophomore year, I was a starter with the JV team and was pushed up to Varsity midway through the season and continued on as a starter. Both my junior and senior year I have been a starter and have played a vital role on the team.
I look forward to my all-time goal of being able to play collegiate basketball. Along with the opportunity to receive a college education, being chosen for a team would be a true dream come true for me as well as my family.
