Personal Statement
I love basketball and want to keep basketball and sports somehow connected in my future either through business or sports management or maybe sports training. I am the youngest of four children. I am the only boy and I am the only one adopted. I am the only biracial person and while some may see this as divisive I have never felt more included and supported. My parents and my sisters have always supported me and encouraged me to be the best at something I love. I love basketball and in our family learning to love the work is a core value taught early and often. I don't always like it but I have learned to love it even when its tough because its then I make the biggest strides. I want to play basketball at the highest level I can earn a spot and still help a team succeed. I want to find the right academic and athletic fit for me and for my development as a person and athlete. I continue to improve in the classroom and on the court. Some call me a late bloomer which is fine with me because it says I have not peaked and will continue to get better. I enjoy history and I like to write and enjoy singing. I am a good teammate who supports and encourages others and my work ethic is contagious.
