My goal is to become a student athlete at a College that will offer opportunities athletically and academically. I plan to graduate and go into the Criminal Justice system. This will allow me to serve my community and to make a difference. I am very focused on 2 goals, to get my degree and to play basketball. The game of basketball has given me a foundation to grow on, I plan to grow strong.
I know that a lot of people have worked really hard to help me get to where I am. I show my gratitude every day by staying committed and working on my game. I pride myself on my high basketball IQ and my love of playing defense and guarding the best player at my position. I am not afraid to work long hours and know that it takes hard work, commitment and consistent good habits to stay on track. I have always committed myself to being the best player every practice, every game. I thrive on the competition, but I've also learned many lessons from basketball that apply to life everyday.
I have played ball every year since elementary school in local leagues, AAU and in school leagues and I have been on some good teams and some great teams. Ultimately, I found my passion and it was to play basketball, it was also winning, but I also found that what I really value is the bond of brotherhood that goes into making a good team a great team. I am a team builder, a team leader and team player and because of this I know that any team I have played on has been better because of me and me because of it.
