Kyle Domark '15 Recruiting Profile

My name is Kyle Domark and I play varsity basketball at Yorkville High School in Illinois.  My excitement for basketball came from my first coach, Aaron Sovern.  I have been fortunate to work with many different coaches since Aaron.  Each coach has brought a different style and new perspective to me for the game.  Skills training, as well as strength and agility continue to be a main focus for me year round. These skills give me confidence and keep my fundamental game strong, which allows me to adapt to different coaching styles and game situations.  I CURRENTLY HAVE A 33.5" VERTICAL.

I am prepared to compete and defend every time I step on the court, but some of my leading contributions to my team are the range I have with my shooting and the capacity to knock down critical shots, as well as the ability to get the ball to open teammates and grab rebounds. I am getting stronger and smarter, both on the court and off.  I challenge myself to look for positive in negative experiences, to make good decisions and persevere through difficulties.

The world is an interesting place to me and I have found that my favorite subjects in school are Spanish and History.  I am also interested in the training side of athletics.  I am planning to pursue these interests in college while staying committed to playing basketball and improving my game.  After college it is my aspiration to continue playing basketball outside the US.  There are many opportunities available and I know basketball will be a part of my future.
