Personal Statement
My number 1 goal at the college level is to get a good education. I realize that I can't play basketball all my life, so I need to plan ahead. Second, I want to be the best player and leader I can possibly be. As a point guard, I believe that I need to be the most vocal and hardest working player on any team I am on. I bring something to a team, that not a lot of "point guards" bring, my vision. I am looking to put my teammates in a better position then myself. If the team I am on needs a scorer, than I am willing to do that as well. I can promise that I will find my teammates open before I create something for myself though. I also love to get the ball out and go. By that I obviously mean that I like to push the ball and score in transition. In order to score in transition, there are many times when I get the rebound myself and let my team leak out. Just because I play the 1 position, doesn't mean that I won't rebound. On top of working hard, I am extremely competitive, I HATE losing. I can not wait to find my right fit at the college level, and I can not wait to start the recruiting process!
