Hello,

My name is Jayden Edwards and I'm in the class of 2018. I am first and foremost a strong believer and follower of Christ. This along with my talent, hard work, and perseverance has allowed me the opportunity to play the game I am so passionate about. My athletic background includes football and baseball but I started playing basketball in the 8th grade and I fell in love with the game immediately. My first rememberance of loving the game came when I experienced the intensity and passion of the game and saw how my natural abilities allowed me to play competitively. With that passion, I challenged myself daily to improve my skills in all areas of the game which has allowed me to help each team I've played on to have successful seasons. I believe that my strongest asset is my ability to make both the peremiter and mid-range shot. I'm a hard worker and have taken tremendous strides to become who I am today on and off the court. This is why I believe I can be a significant aspect to your team. My ball handling skills also makes me very hard to guard which also allows me to be a great facilatator for my teammates. My speed, jumping ability, strength and overall athleticism also allows me to be a good defender will playing above the rim. As you can see with my G.P.A., I've learned to balance both a rigorous schedule of academics and athletics. I've always been complimented about my character, ability to be coached and a good team player. These are all foundational qualities that a player/student of this great game should possess. This is why I believe that a will be a significant asset to your school and basketball team.
