Travis Wilson '18 Recruiting Profile

My collegiate goal is to play basketball in college at the highest level, or possibly even higher, maybe even pro. I want to focus on my education most, so I can provide a steady long-term job in sports medicine, or physical therapy.  I have always dreamed about playing basketball at the highest level.  I believe I have a good chance because I always put my team first before myself.  I have so much passion for the game.  My basketball IQ is really high and I am a great team player.  I have a lot of respect for my teammates and coaches.  I am different than other recruits because I am very committed in what I do. I am always determined to give 110% in basketball, but also my academics.  I always put my academics before anything else except my religion.  God is first, then comes academics, and then basketball.  Without academics there is no basketball.  That is why my IQ is really high because I understand the game.  I enjoy watching film, and learning from what I need to improve on.  Most people would party, but I am getting academics done, watching basketball, or putting in the work at the gym.
