I, Layne Cook, have been passionate about sports since I’ve been a little kid. Since I first stepped on the court, I have aspired to play at the collegiate level. I know that playing college ball isn’t easy to get too and a once in a life time opportunity to most. But I can bring a lot to ones team for the game of basketball. I bring great leadership on and off the court and great character to the team. I’m willing to learn and adapt to the game of college ball and the coaches style around me. I bring great ball handling skills and shooting from beyond the arc. I will definitely bring hardwork on and off the court of basketball taking my education and sports very seriously. I will be your hardest worker and bring my best to the team as a future starter or coming off the bench, whichever God has set before me. I’d like to attend a college where I can be pushed on and off the court and am open to any and all options. I hope to become a great role model to all my peers, in my community and make my parents proud. Those who may consider offering me a scholarship, I will promise you one thing and that is you will not regret your decision and a bright future for the program ahead.
