My name is Hunter Rice and I attend Lakeland Christian school where I am the Point Guard for my Varsity team. My goal is to play college basketball and to play some type of professional basketball during my lifetime. My biggest strength as an athlete and as a person would be my leadership ability. This summer I was offered a chance to work for Point Guard College ,as a basket coach. PGC or Point Guard college is a world wide camp I have attended for 5 years. What I love most about this camp is that they incorporate the mental side of sports as well. I was offered this opportunity because of my leadership qualities and my attention to detail in the game. I'm also a little weird, because I honestly love to play defense! Playing defense is my passion and my biggest attribute. I'm not sure what it is about defense other than I just love to make an offensive player get stopped in their tracks. I also average 1.5 steals per game and am constantly working on my other skills daily. This past season I broke our school assist record. I would say that I'm an above average student academically. I have a 3.8 GPA and I am constantly striving to keep my grades at this level or above. Thank you so much for your time and I do hope that you will follow me and get to know what who I am personally as an athlete.
