I am very hard working even though I am a sophomore in high school right now. I love challenging myself to work harder than most upper-classmen. I am very disciplined and very competitive at anything I do. Whether it's schoolwork or on the court, I am going to put my best effort into outworking you. I am very humble and smart person on and off the court but I also believe in being a student-athlete is an amazing thing to be apart of. I take it very seriously and I wear it as a badge of honor.
My life has not been the most typical life. I come from a single-parent home. When I was 7 years old my father was awarded custody of me. And it has been the best thing that has ever happened to me. Me seeing him get up and go to work to provide for us every day makes me want to succeded in life 10xs more. I want to pay him back with just more than the money and time he's spent getting me to the level I am at now. I want to graduate college and look him in the face and say "We did it".
My father and grandmother got me my first basketball when I was 2 years old. And I've loved the game of basketball ever since. My dad says one of my first words was "ball". My dad and I are very close, he encourages me to do better and make better decisions than he did at my age. I love my dad and my family and they love me. That is why failing at anything I do is not an option. I have an amazing support system and I will not let them down.
