Michael Brand '24 Recruiting Profile

My name is Mikey Brand.  I will graduate Bishop Carroll Catholic High school in 2024 in Wichita Kansas.  I am very interested in playing college ball as well as getting a good education in the business and real-estate field. 

I have been playing Varsity for our school since I was a freshman and have started since I was a sophomore.  I am 6 foot 4, 200 lbs. and play the 3 and 4 position but I am a versatile player and have had to play various roles on our high school team as well as my summer team.  I can play strong in the paint as well as shoot the 3.  I am proud to say that I was the Team captain as a junior of our team and take that role very seriously.  

I am consistently in the top 2 in the greater Wichita city league on points per game and do well in the other areas such as assist and rebounds.

As a Junior I made first team All-City and first team All-State in Sports in Kansas.  I grew up playing the post position because of my size, but as I got older I worked on my outside game.  I think this makes me a double threat because I am VERY strong on the inside as well as the outside.  I scored over 30 points in 2 of our games as a junior. 

I have good visual of the whole court when I am playing and make the smart but hard passes with good results.  I’m coachable.  I am very competitive.  I hate to lose.  I’m determined.  I make good grades.  I’m a hard worker.  I am self-motivated.  I would work hard for you and for our team!  If you have any questions, please feel to reach out to me at (316) 305-1347.  Thanks, and good luck this season.
