Personal Statement
Growing up, I excelled in multiple sports: basketball, baseball, football, cross country, and track. I was a natural born athlete. At the beginning of my freshman year, my basketball coach told me I had the skills to be a really good player. With that news, I decided I would put all of my heart and soul into basketball. I am certain I made the right choice to focus on basketball. I have a passion for the game that I never had for anything else. Everyday, I am practicing on and off of the court, in the weight room, and especially in the classroom, to better my game and to be the best player I can be.
Playing with three of the top players in the state my freshman year really taught me how to play against tough competition. Playing varsity since my freshman year and starting since my sophomore year has given me a lot of experience, which only makes me a better overall player heading into my senior season. With my excellent grades, strong work ethic , drive and determination, I believe I have what it takes to compete and make an impact at the next level.
