Anthonio Johnson '15 Recruiting Profile

My mother often says “your gift can take you where your character cannot keep you" meaning that without character, no amount of talent can keep you where you want to be.  Therefore, I strive daily to be  the Christian young man that my parents raise me to be.

As an athlete, I am coachable, I listen well and I am team-oriented.  Being  the captain of my team, I strive to provide the leadership that my teammates and coaches expect from me.   I am a creative player with a quick first step and a knock-down shooter with strong defense.  I have solid court vision and enjoy looking to maximize my teammates' opportunities with the ball. As an athlete, I also realize that I am only an injury away from my last game, therefore, I make academic one of  priorities ( as evidence by my academic record). I would love to continue playing the game that I love at the collegiate level, while obtaining a quality education.
