I am a hard working student athlete, in class and on the court. My goal is to graduate in honors with a bachelors degree in Civil and Structural Engineer even while playing collegiate basketball. My aspirations is to one day play in the NBA and become a licensed engineer and establishing my own engineering firm one day after my NBA career is over. I believe what makes me a good candidate for any team my ability to fit in and adjust to any coaching philosophy. I am coachable and do not resist what the coach is trying to do with his team. I will work hard at whatever position that the coach wants to put me in to help the team win. I am different from many other recruits in that I'm not egotistical or arrogant but I am confident in my ability and always helpful and concern about my fellow teammates. I not only encourage my teammates but graciously correct them if they are doing something wrong on the court, at practice or just in life in general. Athletically, I am my toughest critic. If I under perform or have a bad game, I take it personal and put in the extra work I need to to correct it. I have the ability to blow by defenders, play tough, aggressive and strong in the paint for my size as well as rebound with those 6'5, 6'6 or taller players and block shots no matter the size. I am also a great mid-range shooter who can also shoot the 3. Academically, I am a 4.0 student in honors and AP classes who is also currently #8 in my class of 286 students. Any coach who selects me will not be getting just an athlete but an honor student, with great character and integrity who works just as hard in the classroom as he does on the court.
