My name is Sonny Gorman. I love to play basketball and want to continue to play at the college level or any level, really. I try to be coachable and accept construction criticism well and apply it to the next play. I am working on releasing my frustrations properly when I don't win or make mistakes in practice or in the game. I have excellent ball handling skills and am always working on them. My court vision is what sets me apart from players in my age group. I create offense and communicate well on the court, to make impact. Although I am on the short side of height for now, I am usually one of the fastest runners on any team I've played for. I am a team player and wish to keep basketball in my life as a way to enjoy my passion for many years to come, while keeping me motivated to continue my college education. I try to get good grades and understand how important it is to find a good balance with life choices. I love to workout and care about my nutrition. Sometimes I can change the mood of a room full of people and positively engage them. I like to have fun while working hard at the game. I also received my 1st degree Tae Kwon Do belt 5 years ago and knew after I found basketball that I wanted to pursue it fully and decided to end my Tae Kwon Do journey after completing the highest level. I love to play basketball every day and hope to pave a way, to align my education with an opportunity that can afford me to do both going to school and playing what I love at the same time.
