Jason Mahoney '20 Recruiting Profile

Hi, my name is Jason Mahoney and this past year I started on varsity as a freshman at Rockport High School, located in the northeast region of Massachusetts.  This year I transferred to The Governor's Academy which is in the Independent School League, and reclassified as a freshman.  Additionally I play on an AAU team called the Eastern Blizzard.  I am a 6'4" guard/forward who can handle the ball, shoot, and especially get to the rim.  I have a great work ethic and I don't give up no matter the circumstances.  I always work as hard as I can in practices and in games.   Not to mention I'm a great leader and teammate.  I always try to cheer up my teammates when they make a mistake in a game or practice.  Also, I do exceptionally well in the classroom (as noted with my 3.43 GPA) and love to learn new things.  Lastly, in general I am an all around genuine person who has a good sense of humor and listens when being spoken to or when given constructive criticism.  Finally, because of these reasons, I would be a great addition to your team and I hope you keep me in mind when recruiting.
