Throughout my life being the best person that I can be has been something that I have strived for. I am constantly improving me as a person and now I am ready for this new chapter of my life in which I hope to take basketball with me. Basketball is more to me than just a game. It is a part of my life that plays a huge role. So far it has helped develop me as a person and as a role model to younger kids in my community . Although I plan to go away to college to play basketball, I know that school pays a huge role in that process. My education is just as important if not more important that basketball and I understand that. I excel in the school field and this has led me to also be a student of the game of basketball. Often times coaches will look to me to be a role model and leader of the team because of my knowledge of the game. To go along with this knowledge I have a knockdown three-point shot and have great handle of the basketball. One advantage I feel I have over opposing players is my gift to see one step ahead of the game which alows me to dictate what happens on the court. To go along with theese advantages of my game, I know there is somethings to improve about my game. I need to get quicker , specifically laterally, which will improve my defense. With all of this being said I feel I can be a great asset and will be able to fit into any type of system and am open to any type of team.
