My long term aspiration is to go pro. Basketball is my passion at this time. I still need to figure out what I want to do in the future academically. I am currently preparing myself for the great many opportunities basketball can bring me.
I am interested in a school that challenges me mentally and piques my interests socially.
I am also interested in attending a school with a very competitive athletic program. I have a passion for the competitive environment. I am currently competing at a highly competitive high school and performing exceptionally. Basketball is a sport I have a love for and I hope to one day have an opportunity to compete at a professional level.
I am a leader amongst my peers; I am dynamic, fast and versatile, able to play multiple positions well. Being a quick learner, I bring a lot to a team! Every team that I've been on has been great, I just try to stay positive and bring up those that need help.

Statements from former Coaches
June 22, 2016
Please accept this letter as a reference and emphatic endorsement of Garrett Drummond as a basketball talent, student, teammate and individual. Garrett is a gifted student, athlete, basketball player and individual. I had the pleasure of coaching Garrett as a 7th and 8th grader and have been privileged to watch him on and off the court prior to and subsequent to coaching him. Since a relatively young age, Garrett has always been mentally mature well beyond his age. He has an exceptional work ethic. I have watched him develop for almost 10 years now and I have never seen Garrett give anything less than 100% of his physical effort and mental commitment to anything.
In addition to being a basketball talent and superior athlete, Garrett has always been a devoted teammate and leader. His peers have a very high level of respect for him. On the court, Garrett is a steward as a result of his intelligence and the quiet confidence and calmness that he conveys to others. He makes great decisions and he is a coaching extension on the floor. Garrett has an uncanny ability to anticipate far beyond what is actually happening on the court and he willingly takes on the important shot, pass or leadership role. He takes accountability for his role and receptively accepts coaching and additional responsibility. Garrett has a great competitive instinct but is always gracious and constructive in losing. He learns how to adapt, respond and help his team win. Garrett accepts challenges and responsibility and is ready made for pressure situations. At a young age, Garrett remarkably handled multitasking in his on court and private life. When I coached him, he excelled in sports, school, band, chess club, and managed to achieve at the absolutely highest level in all of his pursuits. Not surprisingly, he continues to do so today.
I can stress that working with Garrett and including him in any student body or team is a great opportunity. He is one of a kind and undeniably will continue to expand his boundaries and success with major contributions with whatever opportunities he is given.
Please feel free to call if you would like a further reference regarding Garrett. I highly recommend giving him the opportunity to contribute to your team.
Sincerely,
Mike Kiefer

To whom it may concern,
I had thepleasure of coaching Garrett Drummond for two years at St. Maria Goretti High School. Playing the point guard position, Garrett was a coaches’ dream.
Goretti plays in the ultra-competitive Baltimore Catholic League, and our JV teams typically are happy to have a .500 record. In two seasons with Garrett running the team, we finished 21-4 in his freshman year and won the BCL championship his sophomore year. Much of this success can be attributed to Garrett’s play, his understanding of the game and situation, his ability to take and make important shots and his outstanding decision making. He played the game hard and always seemed to be a step a head of the completion in how he read the game.
Garrett was a very hard working player and leader by example, attributes which were much appreciated by me and the assistant coaches. I can be very hard on and demanding of players who play point guard, but Garrett was easy to coachbecause he has such a great basketball IQ and attitude.
Off the court Garrett is very humble and unassuming, yet shares all of the same positive attributes he displays on the court.
Garrett would be a great addition to any school and basketball program.
Sincerely,
David Blenckstone
