Personal Statement

I am a senior at Thomas Stone High School in Maryland, I play the 3, 4 and 5 th positions.  I would like nothing more than to play basketball at the intercollegiate level. I am 6'4'' and around 205 pounds, but am more athletic and light on my feet than you would think. I averaging just under 13 points a game and 15 rebounds a game. I want to play for a college that would give me the chance to grow as an athlete and a person, as well as provide me with the opportunity to travel and bond with a group of peers with a common passion. I am open to any school, and am willing to put in whatever work is necessary to play at the next level as a major contributor. A school that will provide a quality education and work with me to develop my talents as an athlete and qualities as a person would be at the top of my list. I am interested in Business Management and Psychology. My grades are exceptional-my Freshmen year final weighted GPA is a 4.16 with honor classes. I am working on taking my SAT and ACT this year. My ideal school is anywhere in the United States, in any athletic division that has a strong academic and athletic tradition, and is willing to go out on a line for me, because I will do the same for the school and its athletic staff. Thank you for your time. If you are interested in me as an athlete, please contact me and keep up with my profile, you will not be disappointed. I have put in more work in the past 4 months both to improve my fitness and my skills, and am constantly evolving as a player. I want to do so at the next level as well, and will continue to work and challenge myself to get better, even when I don't think I want too. I will do anything to prove myself, and become recognized.

  • Matthew Randall, a 6'1" 2016 175lb prospect of Thomas Stone MD, is a talented player brimming with potential. He showed the ability to step out and knock down the 17 footer in addition to being a solid scorer around the basket. Randall is an unselfish player that really scores at a high level around the basket. We would like to see him continue to develop his guard skills to take the next step in his development. Talented prospect.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
