Sigourney Jackson '12 Recruiting Profile

To graduate from JR College in 2014 and to be recruited by a 4 year school to play basketball and to help me pay for my education.  I am a 6'4 205 shooting guard that is able to impact the game of basketball in multiple areas from scoring to rebounding to my defense.  I am able to defend all three guard positions on the floor because of my mix of size, length, and athleticism.  I am at my best getting into the lane and finishing above the rim on defenders along with catching and shooting the mid range jump shot and beyond the arc.  I bring a character of winning to a team I am a winner at all levels from high school to prep school to my current junior college that has received a national ranking for the first time in school history this year.  There is nothing better than competition to me I do not wish to be around others who do not carry the same mindset from my teammates to my coaches.  From an academic standpoint I am a STUDENT athlete with that being said I do not believe in the bare minimum and choose to excel in the classroom.  I have recently just received 1st Team All Region 20 for the 2014 basketball season - Sigourney Jackson
