I am a hard working, aggressive athlete currently averaging 10 points, 9 rebounds, 2 steals and 4 steals per game. But, I am not just an athlete. I know that sports are a privilege earned only through strong academic achievements and personal dedication and commitment. As such, I take my studies very seriously and have often helped other students gain a better understanding of concepts I have mastered. In addition, I love working with kids and have developed leadership skills associated with my volunteer and paid coaching and referring experiences. By balancing my time across academic requirements, athletic participation, volunteerism and work experience, I have become very organized and focused, very hard working and disciplined, and extremely committed to my goals. My longer term aspiration is to become a family doctor. I would love the opportunity to not only pursue my pre-med degree during my undergraduate education but to play basketball at the same time. I believe that my work ethic, athletic skillsets, and genuine passion for the sport can add value to many college programs but it must be the right fit. I am looking for a school offers a high quality basketball program but also reinforces academic priority. I want to give as much as I receive in college. I think that playing in the basketball program is a way to give to the college that is growing me and I pledge to make the most of the academic and leadership experiences that are offered to me. I welcome the opportunity to speak with you about these goals and aspirations and answer any questions you may have. Thank you for your consideration.
