In April 2018 I chose my college and decided to take the academic track. Originally I applied to 35 colleges across the U.S., some more for academics and some more for basketball. I was accepted at 28 colleges and received over $2M in very generous college-specific scholarships, including four years of full tuition or more at four colleges. I chose the University of Michigan's Biomedical Engineering Program (Top 10 in the nation) and they provided sizable scholarships/grants for 4 years.
Many, many thanks to all of you who have shown interest, given me advice and/or followed my progress on NCSA! I'll miss basketball, but will still play it for fun, plus it will free me up to focus on academics.

- I am a Starter for a top team in the Midwest. We played against top Midwest and National teams. We played 60+ games and I led my team to a solid winning record and many tournament awards. This included 1ST PLACE in the 18th Annual Adidas All American Tournament (St. Louis), 2ND PLACE in the Oakland Elite Tournament (Detroit), 2ND PLACE in the Michigan Mustangs Spring Showdown (Detroit), 1ST PLACE in the Adidas May Classic Tournament (Indianapolis, 2nd Bracket) and ELITE 8 in the Chicago Classic Adidas Gauntlet Division.

- I am a Starter for a top team in the Midwest, and led my team against top national players and teams in tournaments that include Fab48 CHAMPIONSHIP (Las Vegas), Fire Cracker NCAA Tune-Up 1st PLACE (Indianapolis), Chicago Classic FINAL FOUR (61 teams from 11 states), Up North Michigan Challenge 17U CHAMPIONSHIP (played up an age group), King James Classic FINAL FOUR (Akron), Adidas May Classic ELITE 8 (Indianapolis) and Buckeye Prep Invitational CHAMPIONSHIP (Columbus). We play year-round and hold our own against top national talent.

- I was a starter and led my team to a 39-18 record against tremendous competition. We played an aggressive schedule and played well against the top players and teams in 5 states, e.g., Michigan Mustangs Teams, REACH Legends, Indiana Elite Teams, Team Teague, Gymrats Teams, VCC Ohio Warriors, Indiana Faith, Elite Nation, etc. We took 3rd in one of the top tournaments in Michigan, Brawl for the Ball, with 30 top teams participating. We lost by 3 to the team that won the tournament. Tournaments included Circle City Shootout (Fishers IN); Adidas Storm Classic (Grand Rapids MI); Bill Hensley Run-N-Slam (Fort Wayne IN); Adidas May Classic (Fishers IN); Chicago Best Buy Classic; and GRBA National Championships (Fort Wayne IN). I had 10+ pts in 15 games, 8+ rebs in 14 gms, 3+ assts in 9 gms, 3+ blks in 16 gms and 3+ stls in 15 gms.

- I was a starter and led my team to a 61-21 record against fierce competition. We played an aggressive tournament schedule, including GRBA MLK Classic (Fort Wayne IN), Adidas Storm Classic (Grand Rapids MI), Oakland Elite Invitational (Rochester MI), King James Shooting Stars Classic (Akron OH), Bill Hensley Run-N-Slam (Fort Wayne IN), Common Bond (Ypsilanti MI), Chicago Best Buy Classic, Brawl for the Ball (Grand Rapids MI) and GRBA Nationals (Fort Wayne IN). We played well against the top players and teams in 5 states, e.g., Michigan Spartans, Illinois Attack, King James Tier 1, REACH Legends, Indiana Elite Teams, Michigan Mustangs, Gymrats Teams, Michigan Gators, Detroit All Stars, Rise United, Spiece Indy Heat, Chicago Meanstreets, Michigan Family, 1Nation, Michigan United, Ohio Ball Club, etc. We placed 1st in the GRBA MLK Classic and Common Bond, 2nd in Oakland Elite and made the Adidas Storm Classic Final Four, among other awards. I had 10+ pts in 39 games; 8+ rebs in 25 gms; 3+ assts in 13 gms; 3+ blks in 20 gms; and 3+ stls in 29 gms; along with many double-doubles.
