Personal Statement
As I begin my college search process, I have done myself a great disservice in my academic career by not applying myself in the classroom. I take full accountability for my grades, and I have begun the process of making my commitment as a student-athlete something I don’t just talk about. I have been working hard at it, paying attention in the classroom, building stronger relationships with my teachers, and preparing more efficiently for all assignment, quizzes, and tests. With the help and guidance of NCSA, I now know my path to college begins with my efforts as a student. I know if I want the college coaches to respect my skills on the court, I have to make sure they respect my dedication in the classroom.
Off the court, I take my citizenship seriously by helping coach at the Elementary School level, running tournaments, hosting basketball camps, and running two of my own web-business: ProSportsExtra.com and www.LoserBoi.com. I hope you will take the time to get to know who I am and working to become. I hope to be someone you will quickly see as a game-changer for your program.
