Personal Statement

I am Scott McSweeney from Brighton, Michigan. Since I attend a college-preparatory high school, I have adopted a propensity to stay in the books and keep up with my studies. I've recorded a career High Honors GPA along with a 26 on my ACT. My goal is to give everything I have into basketball everyday and to reach the highest potential skill level and ability I could possibly have. I started playing in 9th grade, received 1st team All-Conference 3x received All-State by my junior year -- and still have a ton of learning and development to do. Junior year, I broke the school record with 46 points in one game. Senior year, I broke my own record again with 48 points. Aside from scoring, senior year I recorded multiple triple-double performances. I deserve to be a competitive collegiate basketball player because of my consistent, hard work ethic, my love for the game of basketball, and also I will do whatever it takes to compete at the next level. I am open to all colleges and locations at this time.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
