Personal Statement
I am striving to not only play at the college level, but plan to thrive. I feel as though each year I will grow immensely as a player because of my drive and discipline. I would like to call myself a person of high integrity with good leadership abilities and someone who loves Jesus. Even as a sophomore on varsity, my coach considered me a leader on the court and my principal told me how she thought highly of my leadership abilities in the classroom. My passion is to not only improve myself as a player but to bring my teammates along as well.
I am a strong student, academically and I pride myself on being a STUDENT athlete but also work at being a student of the game. I love to watch film, talk with my dad (a former high school coach) and mom ( former head coach of a DIII national championship team) to find ways to improve my game and my leadership abilities.
I always want to be the hardest worker in the gym and really try to focus on that. Also, I feel like I work harder than most in the driveway and the weight room.
