Personal Statement
Hello, my name is Taurus Wilson Jr., I love playing basketball, I also play football and run track. What I can say about myself is that I am respectful, a team player, a hard worker with strong leadership skills, I’m a fast learner, I’m coachable and I love to win. I have integrity and great aspirations to become successful on and off the court. I have a strong basketball I.Q, I’m a playmaker that can score while getting my teammates involved. I look forward to playing College Basketball.
My parents raised me with strong morals and values, they taught me to strive to do better, to be better and to help others. My parents also taught me to always put GOD first, family second, education and than basketball.
I have been playing AAU basketball since I was 8 years old. I am very competitive and athletic I play 3 sports basketball, football and track. One of my goals is to play basketball in College. I constantly work on my game during offseason, I truly believe that with hard work, dedication, effort and commitment equals success. I apply this to everything that I do to help achieve my goals academically and athletically. I would be a great asset and contributor on the court having the skills to compete at a high level, so when the time comes and I’m blessed to play competitive College Basketball I’ll be ready. I will give 100 percent effort and commitment to my coaches and teammates.
As for academically, I strive for excellence in class and work on improving. I’m looking for a College with great expectations and challenges to help drive me to achieve one of my major goals graduating from College with a degree in Business, I’m your guy, just give me a chance 100% committed to my team!
