Tyler Johnson '13 Recruiting Profile

I am a 6'1"Junior and I attend Hartford  High School. I have started for my Varsity basketball team since my freshmen year. For the past two years I have had the privilege to be a team captain for my varsity squad. I think of myself as the energizer bunny, because I am always bringing my 110% effort day in and day out. I am always pushing my teamates to pursue excellence and give it all they have every second, either in practice or games. I have always been a gym rat. I am always first to get to the gym and the last to leave because I believe hard work does pay off for those who put in the effort and never ever give up. As a student athlete I believe that academics is the number one priorty in highschool and athletics comes second.  As a life long dream to play  college basketball, I assure any college coach that I am a dedicated athlete, and I have the heart and the passion to help any team no matter what the task may be.
