Personal Statement

Ever since I was a young kid, I have had aspirations to play basketball at the highest level possible. That being said, I created a goal sheet that I carry with me everywhere I go, and I hold myself accountable to those goals each day. I have already crossed off some of the goals on my list, for example, making Varsity as a Freshman. More importantly though are the goals I hope to accomplish with my team,  which mean much more to me than any individual accolades. As a Freshman in High School, my main goal right now is to be the hardest working Student-Athlete in the country, as that is in my ascendancy each day. Above all, I just want to win.

  • Schwannecke is a good looking shooting guard to watch in the coming years. Balanced across the board, there’s not many flaws in his game early on. A 6-foot-2 freshman, Schwannecke can catch and shoot from the perimeter. When he puts the ball on the deck and gets to the hole, Schwannecke showed the ability to hang in the air and finish with either hand. The best part of his game is his creativity with the basketball. Schwannecke will freeze the defense sometimes in the open floor with a quick hesitation move. http://www.ny2lasports.com/article_one.aspx?articleid=3466

  • "This 9th grader played with the best guards all camp long. No surprise that he also knocked down 10 triples. The only Up North representative showed that he could move his feet as well. The fact that Schwannecke did so as only a freshman and landed in the Top 10 out of 160 prospects is very impressive."

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
