Erik Anderson '17 Recruiting Profile

I have a strong desire to play college basketball and consider myself a student/athlete.  Through had work every day my game has consistently improved from Traveling, to AAU, and High School at St. Louis Park, MN.  I was a starter and captain for my AAU team the past three years and averaged about 12 points and 10 rebounds last season.  I also started on JV for my High School team my freshman and sophomore years and played varsity minutes.  This year I will be a starter and key player on my High School team and expect to compete for a conference championship.

My strengths as a basketball player include running the court, defense, rebounding, and low post and mid-range jump shots.  I also have the ability to shoot 3 pointers.  I am adept at using my 80 inch wingspan to shut down bigger opponents and rebound.  I plan to continue to expand all facets of my game, including strength and overall agility.

I have very high academic goals and currently have a 3.988 GPA and am ranked 11 out of 347 in my class.  Additionally, I have been in all Honors classes throughout my high school career.
