Matthew Stennis '23 Recruiting Profile

I realize that I will never get a second chance to make a first impression, so my motto in life  is "No Days Off"!  I am a standout student athlete with a weighted 4.0 GPA.  Training for me occurs both on and off the court.  My college years will be a time of personal growth.  My academic goal is to obtain a bachelors of science degree in business management.  On the court, I am a dynamic player and a positive influence on the team.  My primary positions are point and shooting guard.  I am an all around player with unlimited shooting range.  I am a strong link in the team chain displaying loyalty, dedication, and perseverance which builds upon chemistry that translates to consistent team momentum.  As a high school freshman in the 2019 - 2020 school year, I was an intricate part of my team having an undefeated in season record of 23 wins that lead us to district champions.    As I grow mentally and physically during my college basketball career, I will strive to be an asset offensively, and defensively contributing to a winning program.  Most importantly, I will conduct myself with honor and respect on and off the court, knowing that the way I carry myself reflects my team, my coaches and the school I attend.
