James Landherr '16 Recruiting Profile

I love basketball and have loved it for as long as I can remember. It has always been something I can look forward to during school, during the summer, and anytime I need to blow off some steam. Playing college basketball has always been a dream of mine and I'm looking forward to being one step closer to fulfilling that dream. I can provide leadership skills I have acquired being a captain in three separate sports and being a class representative in my school's student council. I have also overcame some difficult situations. I had major bone breaks in my freshman, sophomore,and junior years of football that sidelined me from basketball for the beginning of the season. Because of this, I am extremely motivated to make every minute of my senior year count while taking advantage of being healthy at the beginning of basketball for the first time since 8th grade. Last but not least I also take my studies very seriously and I am ready to take on the difficult task of being a student athlete at the collegiate level.
