Personal Statement

I attended Elementary School at St. Francis of the Lakes Catholic School in Brainerd, MN.  I have been home-schooled for High School.  Currently I am attending Central Lakes College as a PSEO student.  I will have my AA when I graduate High School.  I would like to study Math and Elementary Education and eventually receive my Master's degree.  I participate in athletics at Pine River-Backus High School.  I am in Cross Country, Track, and Basketball.  As far as Basketball goes, it is my passion. I love the game and look forward to improving my skills. Some of my assets in regards to basketball are:  I have excellent court vision. I am an unselfish player, I love to pass and am great at it. I am very coachable and have an upbeat attitude. I'm a good teammate.  I have started at point guard on the varsity team since I was a freshman.  This past year I have grown 4" and am now 6'5.  So I have unique size for a point guard.
