Personal Statement
I attend Blue Springs South High School. The 2014-15 Missouri Class 5 State Champions and 2015-16 District and Sectional Champions. I am about teamwork and I am a teammate who shares the ball and does whatever it takes to help the team win. I am a successful catch and release, as well as a pull up shooter. I look and feed to my teammates to score. I play active defense and always look to take a charge on offensive players. I am a successful three point shooter and consistent free throw shooter.
Basketball has taught me commitment, leadership, discipline and confidence. My best quality is my commitment and work ethic. I put in 110% effort in every practice and game. I try to work harder than the guy standing next to me. My coaches have always engrained “attitude and effort”. If I always have a positive attitude and give great effort, I can accomplish amazing end results.
Academics plays an important role in sports and life. I strive to have a strong education by maintaining a 3.5 GPA and have an Academic letter for five consecutive semesters of greater than 3.5 GPA. My academic role is also guided by my commitment, leadership and discipline. Without education, I wouldn’t have the ability to play basketball.
I have a love and passion for the game and would love to continue my education and basketball career at the next level.
