Personal Statement

My name is Ryan Lacefield. I have been playing basketball and training for 10 years. I am currently a Senior and starting Point Guard at Lindbergh High School in St. Louis Mo.I have played four seasons of Varsity basketball and was named Honorable Mention all Suburban West Conference my sophomore and junior season. I played AAU basketball for Rocktown Elite this past summer .I have also played for WITTS(8th grade NAYB National Championship team),St. Louis Gym Rats Elite, St. Louis Prospects. and Missouri Impact. I have 5 years of advanced training with WITTS and Puresweat, and have attended Point Guard College two summers. On the court I am a ferocious competitor,a leader, and driven to succeed. I'm very coachable and a great teammate.My motto is to never be outworked, and my goal is to turn my hard work and dedication into a basketball scholarship. Off the court, I'm a model citizen with high character. My current GPA is 3.1 with interest in Business and Sports Management. My dream and desire is to play College Basketball at the highest level possible while receiving a quality education .
