Personal Statement
My name is Trevor Mahn and I currently am a junior at Belgrade High School in Belgrade, MT. I carry a 3.4 GPA with a heavy class load. I currently am 6'1" feet tall and started varsity this past season as a guard/point guard. I enjoyed this season as it was a learning process for our team but coming with the learning process I have become a leader, and my personal moral has much improved . I have committed myself to assisting in leading our team both on the floor and off the floor. I average between 8-12 pts per game with my highest game being 20 pts,3-5 assists, 1-2 blocks. As with the numbers I also enjoyed being on a team that runs the floor very well leading to the fact that I am in very good shape. As a sophomore I was named all conference honorable mention which is quite the feat for a sophomore in our league and invited to showcases following our regular season both my sophomore and junior year. Along with basketball, I also play baseball on our local American Legion baseball team and started as a freshman and was ranked in the top 50 in the northwest for my age group as a freshman and sophomore. I played football as a freshman and chose to not play my sophomore and junior, however I have found myself missing the sport and will again play this fall as quarterback. It is a huge aspiration for myself to play college sports, and not only that but to grow as an individual. I enjoy being able to say I have a high grade point average and I am very proud to be one of the small percentages to be able to say that. I am looking forward to talking to coaches and further expanding my opportunities not only as an athlete but as a person as well.
